Hi! I’m Clarissa!

I’m an LA native passionate about creating a space where you feel safe, welcomed, and inspired. My fitness journey started back in 2011 when I was a cheerleader in high school. I loved the energy and enthusiasm of dance and cheer, that later led me to find yoga in 2014 as a freshman in college. I fell in love with mindful movement practices such as meditation and asana (physical yoga practice), and since then, I’ve explored all aspects of health and well-being, earning certifications in yoga sculpt (60HR), power yoga (200HR), holistic health, integrative nutrition, and personal training.

I’m currently getting my 300HR yoga certification making me a 500HR RYT! I’ve also had the privilege of leading two sculpt teacher trainings and as of this year I will have facilitated two 200HR trainings!

My teaching philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach to fitness. My classes blend high-vibe music, mindful movement, and a sense of purpose—helping you feel grounded, connected, and empowered on and beyond the mat.

Fun Fact: My last name — Karunaratne is Sanskrit (the language of yoga!) for Kind - Sun. My intention behind my method is to inspire you to be kind to your mind, body and soul so you can shine BRIGHT!
